Founded in 2024 by Clément Lamy and Floriane Benichou, formerly CEO and Director at Attali Associates, LBA was created with a singular purpose: to provide leaders with the unwavering commitment, agility, and expertise they need to navigate complex challenges, particularly in emerging markets.

Clément Lamy

Co-Founder

Clément has advised governments, multinational corporations and multilateral institutions on high-impact strategic and policy mandates.
Former CEO of Attali Associates, he led complex missions across Africa, the Middle East and international forums, while overseeing the firm’s growth and operational transformation.

His experience spans national leadership advisory, international negotiations and corporate strategy, with a strong focus on being present on the ground and delivering under pressure.

Clément holds a Master in Management from ESSEC Business School, a degree from Yale University, and is a graduate of the École de Guerre (France’s War College), where he deepened his expertise in geopolitical and strategic analysis.

Floriane Benichou

Co-Founder

Floriane has supported senior leaders across governments, international organizations and major corporations in navigating institutional complexity, strategic transformation and high-stakes processes.

Former Director at Attali Associates, she led the public policy practice and served as an embedded advisor to ministerial and prime ministerial teams, as well as to multilateral leadership. Her work combines strategic clarity with operational rigor in demanding environments.

Floriane holds a Master in Management from HEC Paris, a Master in Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, and a degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas (São Paulo), reflecting a career positioned at the intersection of public and private decision-making.

Dimitri Demekas

Global Finance, Macroeconomic Policy & Financial Stability

Dimitri is a leading authority on financial stability, macroprudential policy, and climate-related financial regulation. A 30-year veteran of the International Monetary Fund, he served as Assistant Director of the Monetary & Capital Markets Department, where he revamped the IMF’s financial surveillance toolkit, managed its Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP), and directed the development of stress testing frameworks used by central banks worldwide. He represented the IMF in numerous Financial Stability Board (FSB) working groups.

In 2020, he served as Senior Adviser to the Saudi G20 Presidency. He has also advised the IFC on capital market development and led a project for the IMF’s Independent Evaluation Office on fintech, cyber risk, and digital currencies.

He currently serves as Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics, Special Adviser on financial stability at the Bank of England, and Senior Consultant to the World Bank Group. Earlier in his career, he was Special Adviser to the Greek Presidency of the EU. He holds a PhD in Economics from Columbia University.

Ismahane Remonnay

Industrial Strategy, Regulatory Foresight & Ecological Transition

Ismahane Remonnay is a sustainability and industrial strategy expert with over two decades of experience across multiple sectors and geographies. She currently serves as Vice President of Foresights & Alliances at Veolia, where she shapes the group’s strategic outlook across water, waste management, energy, and the circular economy.

In 2015, she launched Veolia’s Chemical Transition Pathway Program, a pioneering initiative in sustainable chemistry built through global stakeholder engagement — including collaboration with the EU, the ChemSec Business Group, and international scientific communities. She is a contributor at leading international forums including the World Economic Forum, the International Water Resources Association, and the Berlin Forum on Chemicals and Sustainability.

Her background also includes over 15 years in risk management and quality assurance in international industrial environments. She is an INSEAD alumna and holds a Master’s in Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg. Ismahane brings to LBA the ability to connect industrial operations, regulatory frameworks, and long-term sustainability strategy.

Abdulaziz Alsanad

Investment Ecosystems, Economic Diplomacy & Vision 2030

Abdulaziz Alsanad is a specialist in investment promotion, strategic partnerships, and economic diplomacy in the Gulf region, with over two decades of experience in international business ventures and cross-border collaboration across multiple sectors. His expertise includes negotiating complex agreements and overcoming the practical challenges of international business.

Formerly at the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), he gained first-hand experience in the institutional architecture driving the Kingdom’s economic transformation under Vision 2030, from foreign direct investment attraction and cross-border deal facilitation to the development of strategic cooperation frameworks with international partners. His expertise covers the full investment lifecycle within the Gulf’s rapidly evolving regulatory and institutional landscape: sovereign investment frameworks, sectoral licensing, market entry strategies, and the complex stakeholder dynamics that shape investment decisions in the region.

At a time when the Gulf economies are actively repositioning themselves as global investment and innovation hubs, Abdulaziz provides LBA and its clients with a rare and invaluable perspective — that of someone who has operated from within the institutions shaping these transformations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MSc in International Business from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.

Diego Capelli

Government Strategy, Multilateral Diplomacy & International Economic Affairs

Diego is a senior advisor with over 25 years of experience at senior levels of government, specializing in public policy, diplomatic strategy, and international economic affairs. He served as Argentina’s sous-sherpa during the country’s 2018 G20 Presidency, where he played a central role in shaping multilateral negotiations on trade, investment, the future of work, and global governance.

His career spans the full spectrum of government advisory: from national policy design to the management of complex multilateral processes involving heads of state, finance ministers, and international organizations. He actively contributes to the Global Solutions Initiative’s working group on Rethinking Multilateralism and Global Governance, and is a recognized voice on Latin American economic dynamics and the evolving multipolar landscape.

Romain Vuillerminaz

Strategic Communications, Political Advisory & Nation-Branding

Romain is a senior advisor specializing in executive positioning, institutional strategy and large-scale narrative transformation. With over 20 years of experience across government, political leadership and global corporations, he advises CEOs, boards and public leaders operating in complex and high-exposure environments.

He served as General Manager of one of France’s leading creative agencies within Groupe Havas, where he led global brand platforms and transformation mandates for major corporations including Citroën, SFR, Lidl, L’Oréal, Casino, and Crédit Mutuel across France, Europe and Asia.

He later held senior institutional roles, including General Manager of a major French political party and Special Adviser to the Presidency and Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire, where he structured national opinion strategy, international positioning and executive communications at the highest level. He subsequently became General Manager of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Tourisme, leading the international promotion strategy of one of France’s largest regions and contributing to the successful bid for the 2030 Winter Olympic Games.
In 2025, he served as Political and Strategic Adviser to the French Minister of Health, coordinating media, parliamentary and territorial strategy.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, he brings to LBA Advisory deep expertise in strategic narrative design, stakeholder influence and executive positioning – helping leaders align long-term vision, public legitimacy and operational transformation.

Damien Bruckard

Geopolitical Risk, International Trade & Strategic Intelligence

Damien is the Founder and Chair of Geopolitical Strategy, advising corporations, financial institutions, and public sector clients on geopolitical risks and opportunities, strategy development, and corporate diplomacy. Damien also writes the ‘Irregular’ column for Geopolitical Dispatch, the firm’s daily geopolitical briefing.

Damien previously held senior roles at the International Chamber of Commerce, leading global engagement and trade and investment policy and advising the Secretary-General. Earlier, he served as a diplomat, including in the Australian Embassy in Moscow and as a trade negotiator, foreign policy advisor, and public international lawyer with the Department of Foreign Affairs in Canberra.

Damien’s practice is international in scope and focuses on the intersection of geopolitics, financial markets, and corporate strategy. He speaks regularly at conferences and appears as a commentator for radio and television. He splits his time between Paris and Sydney.
